I’m currently applying to graduate schools in Religious Studies. My focus is on pluralism as achieved through religious literacy. I intend to teach at the university level, but we’ll see what the Universe has in store for me as I stumble down the path I’m on. I’m sure of the path, but the destination remains to be seen. This is bot a huge and utterly miniscule jump from what I’ve done for the last decade–a part of my old profile that I’ve left intact below. Life is full of change and surprises. I’m looking forward to seeing how my work of the previous decade will integrate with the journey I’m on now.

I write books about alternative sex practices and travel the country teaching people how to do delightfully rotten things to each other in the safest way possible.  I encourage people to find their own edges and push them.  I dream of a world where talking about sex is as common as “please pass the sugar” and has its own language and vocabulary.  I work towards a world in which we all recognize we’re sexual beings and use that great Gift as a means by which to expand consciousness.  I train people to utilize sex and sexuality as both mirror of and vehicle for the Unitive state.  I’m tall, dark and perforated.  I have green eyes and other irrelevancies.
